PRESENT: Robert P. Valentine[Marker]
EXCUSED: H. John Krukar
OTHERS: Karl Acimovic (Town Engineer), Edward Perry (Public Works Supervisor)
Robert P. Valentine called the meeting to order at 10:04 a.m.
Bob Valentine noted there were five prospective contractors that submitted Statement of Qualifications. Those contractors are:
· O & G Industries, Inc.
· Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI)
· D’Amato Construction Company, Inc.
· LR Enterprises, Inc.
· Morin Construction Co. Inc.
Each proposal was reviewed and analyzed on their merits.
The following were found to be insufficient proposals:
· O & G Industries, Inc. – Did not submit the requested information by the required due date
· Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI) – Presentation incomplete in respect to dam construction expertise, personnel knowledge and experience in dam construction.
The following contractors were deemed to be qualified:
· LR Enterprises, Inc.
· Morin Construction Co. Inc.
· D’Amato Construction Company, Inc.
The Board of Selectmen along with Karl Acimovic (Town Engineer) and Ed Perry (Public Works Supervisor) then proceeded to review the bid specifications for the Tyler Lake Dam Project.
IN A MOTION made by H. John Krukar, seconded by Robert P. Valentine, it was VOTED to adjourn the meeting. Vote unanimous. The meeting adjourned at 12:20 p.m.
