Robert P. Valentine called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Discussion on the West Hyerdale project and possible action
Bob Valentine noted the submitted bids were thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by Ed Perry, Public Works Supervisor and himself. The awarding of the bid was based on several factors some of which were; length of time in business, references and previous job experience.
Bob Valentine and Ed Perry would recommend the contract for the Reconstruction & Drainage Improvements on West Hyerdale Drive be awarded to A. Palker Jr. & Sons Excavating & Utility Contractor, Litchfield, CT.
IN A MOTION made by Thomas A. Breakell, seconded by Robert P. Valentine, it was VOTED to award the bid to A. Palker Jr. & Sons for the bid amount of $143,699.33 contingent upon receipt of a performance bond and proof of insurance acceptable to the Town of Goshen.
IN A MOTION made by Thomas A. Breakell, seconded by Robert P. Valentine, it was VOTED to adjourn the meeting. Vote unanimous. The meeting adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
