GOSHEN CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES – REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 5, 2008
CALL TO ORDER: Chairman John Ross called the meeting to order at 7:33 P.M.
PRESENT: John Ross, Barry Donaldson, Anders Nygren and Barnett Laschever. Excused absence, Audra Allen and Joan M. Lang. Absent Chris Marino.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION MADE BY Anders Nygren seconded by Barnett Laschever to approve the minutes of the October 1, 2008 meeting. No discussion on the minutes, the minutes were approved as presented.
OLD BUSINESS:
Trail update – Nothing to report
Goshen Scenic Areas & Trail Brochure – Barnett Laschever presented an initial copy of the Brochure for review by the Board. There is more finishing work to be performed and John Ross will meet with Barnett to finalize the project. John Ross will also revise the trail map to show “Goshen Rotary” in place of “Goshen Rotary”.
Open Space: Inquiries would be made of the Selectmen relative to what future use if any is being contemplated for the recently acquired 45 acres of Town land on East Street North.
CORRESPONDENCE: CCM Workshop will be held in New Milford on December 15, 2008, 10:00 A.M. – Noon. The workshop will be held in the New Milford Town Hall.
There was no other business to come before said meeting. A MOTION TO ADJOURN was made by Barnett Laschever seconded by Anders Nygren. The meeting adjourned at 8:12 P.M.
