APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A MOTION WAS MADE BY Audra Allen seconded by Anders Nygren to approve the minutes of the November 5, 2008 Conservation meeting.
Noted for correction under the minutes, Page one, Para. 4, last sentence, the second Goshen Rotary words should be corrected to read Goshen Center.  There was no further discussion on the minutes.  The minutes were APPROVED as amended.

OLD BUSINESS: John Ross noted that if any Commission members were interested, that he had a website for the CCM Workshop on Saving Connecticut Agricultural Lands.  The workshop is to be held on Dec. 15, 2008, 10:00 A.M. to Noon in the New Milford Town Hall.

Goshen Scenic Areas & Trails Brochure: Due to the absence of Barnett Laschever, there was no update on the final draft of the brochure.

Open Space Identification of potential continuous continuous corridors: Discussion was held on what the Conservation Commission could do to produce a map that could be used by the various Town Boards and Commissions that would help to identify those lands within the Town of Goshen that are currently protected lands and those farm and forest parcels that should be considered to be of top priority for preservation.  Reviewed at length were the various land maps that are on file with the Town at this time to see if any of them could be used.  After review of the available maps it was found that many of the maps need to be updated.  Reviewed were the Litchfield Hills Greenprint maps given to the Commission in April of 2008 by Timothy Abbott who is director of the Litchfield Hills Greenprint Program.  Chris Marino would contact Timothy Abbott of the LHGP to wee what help they could give in producing overlay maps that can be used in the identification of lands that could be considered for future preservation toward creating potential continuous corridors of preserved lands.
