1. CALL TO ORDER: Thomas Stansfield, Lorraine Lucas, Anthony Savarese, Martin Bothroyd, Allen Kinsella, Rick Wadhams, Martin Connor, AICP – Excused Ray Turi
2. PUBLIC HEARING: None
3. READING OF THE MINUTES: The Commission received and reviewed the February 4, 2010 meeting minutes
IN A MOTION made by Bothroyd seconded by Savarese it was voted to APPROVED the February 4, 2010 meeting minutes. Vote Unanimous
4. OLD BUSINESS
a. Mark Greenberg / 6645 Village Market Place, LLC – Construct building, septic and gravel driveway, 59 Torrington Road. Ron George was present on behalf of the applicant. Mr. George submitted conditional approval for the septic system by the CT State Health Department. The storage building has been rotated to be completely out of the regulated are. Roof drains have been added, so that the gravel does not get washed out, but will discharge into upland area. Mr. Connor stated that he spoke with
Mr. Rossi from Torrington Area Health District, and he didn’t foresee any problems with the septic plans.
IN A MOTION made by Mr. Savarese seconded by Ms. Lucas it was voted to APPROVE the application for Mark Greenberg / 6645 Village Market Place, LLC – Construct building, septic and gravel driveway, 59 Torrington Road. Ron George was present on behalf of the applicant. Vote Unanimous
5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Ronald T. Forcier, Federal Hill Builders, Lot 417 Sherbrook Drive, Construct Dwelling request for a 5 year extension permit #11-05-02. There are no proposed modifications to the plans.
IN A MOTION made by Mr. Stansfield seconded by Mr. Kinsella it was voted to GRANT A 5 YEAR EXTENSION on permit # 11-05-02 for Ronald T. Forcier, Federal Hill Builders, Lot 417 Sherbrook Drive, Construct Dwelling. Vote Unanimous
6. INLAND WETLAND’S OFFICER REPORT: The Commission received and reviewed the Inland Wetland’s Officer’s Report.
IN A MOTION made by Mr. Kinsella seconded by Mr. Bothroyd it was voted to ACCEPT the Inland Wetland’s Officer’s Report. Vote Unanimous
7. CORRESPONDENCE: DEP Segment 1 & Segment 2 Training pamphlet, CT Wildlife magazine.
8. ADJOURNMENT
IN A MOTION made by Mr. Savarese seconded by it was voted to ADJOURN. Vote Unanimous.
