Minutes of Board of Directors Regular Meeting
June 7, 2010
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:05 P.M. by President Jeff Johnson.
PRESENT: Jeff Johnson, Lynn Steinmayer, Henrietta Horvay, Pat Reilly, Cathy Nygren, Diana Bernard, and Lucia Miller
SECRETARY’S MINUTES: Motion to accept the minutes of May 3, 2010 by Lucia Miller and seconded by Cathy Nygren. Motion passed by all present.
MATTERS ARISING FROM MINUTES: None
CORRESPONDENCE: None
DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Lynn Steinmayer reviewed her report (attached). Quilting classes were very successful. Lynn will be speaking to the Goshen Unemployment Group at the Church of Christ Congregational.
TREASURER REPORT: Treasurer Cathy Nygren reviewed the June 7, 2010 report with the board. (attached)
PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Jeff Johnson thanked the board members for their service for the year.
OLD BUSINESS:
Kindle: The Kindle was checked our once and we did receive feedback from the user.
May Wine Tasting: Sunset Meadows Vineyards tasting went well and everyone who attended had a very nice time. A small profit was realized by the Friends of the Goshen Public Library.
Summer Reading Program: Summer Reading program subject is “Pets”. Pam Buckley is preparing for the summer program.
NEW BUSINESS:
Book Sale: Books continue to come in and will have plenty for the sale.
Fall Wine Tasting - Miranda: Discussion followed. Jeff will check the dates of October 16th or
October 23rd and report at the next meeting.
Trivia Contest: Friday July 23rd at 6:30 to 8:00 three games will be on and prizes will be awarded.
Motion to adjourn at 5:13 p.m. by Henrietta Horvay and seconded by Pat Reilly. Motion passed by all present.
Next Meeting will be a regular meeting on MONDAY
JULY 12, 2010 AT 4:00 P.M.
