Oktoberfest at the Platzl Brauhaus
Come and enjoy a full day of entertainment, food, fun, music and dancing at the Platzl Brauhaus resort in Pomona , New York. The Goshen Recreation Department adventure departs on October 5th from two pick-up points (one in Goshen and one in Torrington)and is open to all.
Travelers will be welcomed upon arrival with coffee, tea, Danish pastries and homemade donuts. Lunch will feature lots of German items including Barley Soup, Potato, Vegetables, family style Bratwurst, Spare Ribs, Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Applesauce and dessert plus your choice of Roasted Chicken, Roast Pork Platter or Sauerbraten. Beer and Soda will be served from noon to 5pm. At 4 pm there will be a Standing Rib Roast at the carving table.
Entertainment will be on-going throughout the day. The cost for the day is $81 ,which starts around 8:30 am and ends at about 7:30 pm and includes the driver’s gratuity.
