INLAND WETLANDS COMMISSION
The Goshen Inland Wetlands Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 7:15PM at the Town Hall Conference Room to hear the following applications:
Amendments to Inland Wetlands Regulations as per PA 10-85 and Proposed Increase in the Regulated Area from 75 Feet to 100 Feet.
At this public hearing, interested persons may appear and be heard and written communications received. Copies of the application are available for inspection in the Land Use Office in the Goshen Town Hall, 42 North Street.

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission on February 3, 2011 at 7:15 P.M. at the Goshen Town Hall, 42A North Street, the following decisions were made:
By unanimous vote, to approve with conditions the application in the matter of LDM Squared, LLC for Robert Ljungquist, 200 East Hyerdale Drive, Shoreline Stabilization, Patio Reconstruction, and Stair Replacement in the Regulated Area.
By unanimous vote, to approve the application in the matter of Mark and Joan Haydon, 82 Dresden Circle, Construct New Front Entrance.

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission on January 6, 2011 at 7:15 P.M. at the Goshen Town Hall, 42A North Street, the following decisions were made:
By unanimous vote, to approve the application in the matter of The Estate of Gladys Hughes, 192 West Side Road, 3-Lot Subdivision with Driveway for Lot 3 in the Regulated Area as per plans dated 5/27/2010.
By unanimous vote, to approve the application in the matter of Torrington Water Company – Timber Harvest with Wetlands Crossings, Jake Road.
By unanimous vote, to approve with conditions the application in the matter of Colby Engineering for Assenza Builders – Lot 678 Paxton Road, New House Construction in the Regulated Area.
By unanimous vote, to grant a 5-year wetlands permit extension in the matter of Anthony Tartaglia, Lot 478 Sherbrook Drive, Extension of Permit #01-06-03, Construct Single Family Dwelling, with all conditions of the original permit to remain in effect.
By unanimous vote at the 11/4/2010 regular meeting and reaffirmed at the 1/6/2011 meeting, to uphold the Cease and Desist order in the matter of Gordon Geiger, 58 Tyler Lake Heights. Inland Wetlands Violation – Accessory Building Cover-It Shed within the Regulated Area with no Zoning, Building, or Inland Wetlands Permits and to now refer the matter to the Town Attorney for further enforcement action.
By unanimous vote at the 11/4/2010 regular meeting and reaffirmed at the 1/6/2011 meeting, to uphold the Cease and Desist order in the matter of Lisa M. Kelly, 120 Sandy Beach Road. Inland Wetlands Violation – Shoreline Stabilization Work without Inland Wetlands Permit and to now refer the matter to the Town Attorney for further enforcement action.
