TOWN OF GOSHEN
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION



The Town of Goshen Planning and Zoning Commission, at its November 22, 2011 regular meeting, made the following decisions:

By unanimous vote, to approve the application in the matter of John Winslow, 613 Sharon Turnpike – Special Permit for Home Based Business (Blacksmith Shop).  

By unanimous vote, to adopt the Amendments to Subdivision Regulations pertaining to bonding requirements for public improvements and utilities proposed in conjunction with a subdivision (Article IV Section 2, Article IX Section 2, Article XIII) and to requirements for subdivision maps and site analysis plans (Article V Sections 2 and 6) with an effective date of November 27, 2011.

The Goshen Planning and Zoning Commission will hold the following public hearings on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 7:30PM at the Town Hall Conference Room to hear the following applications:

Amendments to Subdivision Regulations pertaining to bonding requirements for public improvements and utilities proposed in conjunction with a subdivision (Article IV Section 2, Article IX Section 2, Article XIII) and pertaining to requirements for subdivision maps and site analysis plans (Article V Sections 2 and 6).

At these public hearings, interested persons may appear and be heard and written communications received.  Copies of the applications are available for inspection in the Land Use Office in the Goshen Town Hall, 42 North Street.

The Goshen Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 7:30PM at the Town Hall Conference Room to hear the following applications:

1)      Amendment to Aquifer Protection Regulations, Section 4, Prohibited and Regulated Activities, to comply with Public Act 10-135.  

2)      Amendments to Zoning Regulations & Subdivision Regulations Regarding Low Impact Development.  

3)      Amendment to Zoning Regulations – Definition of Height.  Petitioner:  Peter Ebersol, Esq. for Ivy Mountain Farms.  

At these public hearings, interested persons may appear and be heard and written communications received.  Copies of the applications are available for inspection in the Planning and Zoning Office in the Goshen Town Hall, 42 North Street.
