Meeting Minutes for Thursday August 20, 2009 @ 7:30 PM

Goshen Town Hall Conference Room, 42 North Street

 

  1. CALL TO ORDER: Gail Lavoie (Chairman), Jeff Johnson, Amanda Cannon, Bernie Harrington (alt) – Absent Daniel Kobylenski, Donald Moore

Ms. Lavoie called the meeting to order at 7:36 PM

 

  1. READING OF THE MINUTES: The Board received the minutes prior to the meeting for review.

IN A MOTION made by Ms. Cannon seconded by Mr. Harrington it was voted to ACCEPT the July 16, 2009 minutes with the following amendments: (1) Page 1 Daniel Kobylenski is now a regular member and “(alt.)” should be deleted , (2)Page 2 in the motion for Colby for Dr. Pease it should be a 75ft. Variance and not a 50 ft. Variance. (3) Add under Call to Order – Absent Donald Moore.  Vote Unanimous.

 

  1. PUBLIC HEARING: None
  2. OLD BUSINESS: None
  3. NEW BUSINESS

Mrs. Lavoie recused herself at 7:39 PM

 

a.       Aaron Lavoie and Jenna Lillis, 61 Tyler Lake Heights, Requesting 40'8" front yard variance & 27'3" side yard variance to construct front porch and 24'4" side yard variance to construct mudroom addition in rear.  Mr. Lavoie was present to discuss plans with the Board.  The Board reviewed the plans and determined this is a complete application.

 

IN A MOTION made by Mr. Johnson seconded by Mr. Harrington it was voted to ACCEPT the application for Aaron Lavoie and Jenna Lillis, 61 Tyler Lake Heights, Requesting 40'8" front yard variance & 27'3" side yard variance to construct front porch and 24'4" side yard variance to construct mudroom addition in rear and to SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2009. Vote Unanimous.

 

Mrs. Lavoie returned at 7:53 PM

 

b.      William G Colby for Alan C Rothfeld & Laura Colangelo, 30 Benjamine Road, requesting 53.83 ft shoreline variance to reconstruct house.  Ms. Colangelo and Mr. Colby were present to discuss plans with the Board.  The Board reviewed the plans and determined that this is a complete application.

 

IN A MOTION made by Mr. Johnson seconded by Ms. Cannon it was voted to ACCEPT the application for William G Colby for Alan C Rothfeld & Laura Colangelo, 30 Benjamine Road, requesting 53.83 ft shoreline variance to reconstruct house and to SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2009. Vote Unanimous.

IN A MOTION made by Ms. Cannon seconded by Mr. Johnson it was voted  to ADJORN the meeting at 8:05 PM. Vote Unanimous.
