GOSHEN BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Regular Meeting- December 17, 2008
The December 17, 2008 Regular Meeting of the Goshen Board of Assessors was called to order at 4:07 p.m.
PRESENT:

Assessor – Lucy Hussman

READING OF MINUTES:
The minutes of the September 17, 2008 meeting were reviewed and approved.
REQUEST TO BE HEARD:
None.
ASSESSORS REPORT:
Lisa Barber, Assessors Clerk, completed the CCMA 1A course and did very well on the exam.
The 07 MV Suppl list is finished and bills are ready to be mailed. The office is finalizing Personal Property data entry and is prepared to begin processing the 08MV list when it arrives. This fall approximately 200 properties with outstanding building permits were inspected by Lucy Hussman with assistance from Lisa Barber. Data entry from those inspections is currently ongoing in preparation of finalizing the Grand List in January.
There are two pending court cases from the 2007 Revaluation that are being handled by Atty. Mark Connolly. With authorization from the Town of Goshen, he has obtained Arthur Oles to prepare appraisals for both properties.
BUDGET UPDATE:
The Budget Report dated 12/17/08 was reviewed and is currently under budget.
NEW BUSINESS:
The 2009 Meeting Schedule was presented and accepted.
OLD BUSINESS:
None.
