ACCEPTED TOWN ROADS
Sec. 20-1 Moses Wadhams Road. To accept the doings of the Selectmen in laying a highway through the land of Moses Wadhams and that the highway shall be a public highway forever. (11-14-1814)
Sec. 20-2 Rock House Road. To accept the highway laid out commencing near the dwelling house of Jabez Gibbs thence eastwardly to Hall Meadow. (5-9-1842)
Sec. 20-3 Miles Apley to Hinsdale Road. To accept a public highway commencing on the East Street Road near the dwelling house of Miles Apley and intersecting the Hinsdale Road, so-called, near the dwelling house of Nicholas Sheldon on said road. (7-10-1843)
Sec 20-4 Cornwall easterly to Elias Hart. To lay a public highway commencing at the east end of a highway in Cornwall and running eastwardly until it intersects the Turnpike Road near the dwelling house of Elias Hart in said Goshen. (10-5-1846)
Sec. 20-5 Whist Pond Road. To accept a road from Pond Hill Road to Torrington line.

Sec. 20-6 Kimberly Road. That the Selectmen lay out and perfect the survey of a highway on the south line of William Davis land extending the road leading past the house of Lewis M. Norton easterly to Torrington Town line. (See Sec. 021-8) (10-5-1857)
Sec. 20-7 James Hicks to John Bailey. To lay a new highway commencing near the house occupied by James Hicks and running north of the present highway to a point near the house occupied by John Bailey. (7-6-1869)
Sec. 20-8 J I Merwin to old Litchfield-Canaan Tnpk. That the road leading from the house of J. I. Merwin to the old Litchfield-Canaan Turnpike be considered as a public highway and kept in repair by the Town the same as other highways. (See Sec. 021-20 & 21) (10-3-1870)
Sec. 20-9 West Mountain Road. That the Selectmen be instructed to protect the West Mountain Road at the intersection of the private road of Patrick McElhone with the West Mountain Road as they shall deem for the interests of the Town. (11-22-1875)
Sec. 20-10 Cook Hill. To alter the highway leading from the residence of the late Samuel Cook, dec’d, past the residence of Dudley Chase, dec’d, to Winchester Center in the northeast part of the Town of Goshen, on which is called “Cook Hill”. (10-6-1884)
Sec. 20-11 Hageman-Shean Road. To construct a highway in the northwest part of the Town of Goshen, beginning at a point near the foot of the hill west of the house of Henry Hageman, on the present highway, thence in a southwesterly direction for 70 rods, more or less, to an intersection of the Goshen and Canaan Highway. Sec. 20-12 Sandy Beach Road. Extending from School Hill Road to the property of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Brun, including a 40 foot right of way and existing drainage rights. (8-15-1946)
Sandy Beach Road. To accept a 40 foot right of way including exisiting drainage beginning at the Brun property and extending south to within 10 feet of the existing gate, this road being on the east shore of Tyler Lake. (8-18-1950)
Sec. 20-13 Tyler Lake Heights. That the Selectmen be instructed and empowered to make a thorough investigation of taking over certain roads at Tyler Lake Heights and authorized to accept or reject the proposition as presented by Homer H. Judd. (10-2-1944)
Sec. 20-14 Breguet Road. To accept Breguet Road from Route #4 to the intersection at the top of the hill. (10-3-1949)
Sec. 20-15 Tyler Lake Heights Road. Corner tangent of previously accepted road. (See Land Records Vol. 36/490; Vol. 37/359) (10-1-1951)

Sec. 20-17 Lakeshore Drive. To accept the road known as Lakeshore Drive at Breguet Shores in West Goshen. (10-5-1953)
Sec. 20-18 Pie Hill Road. To construct a continuation of Pie Hill Road east to connect with what is now known as Old Tannery Road to terminate at East Street. (10-5-1953)
Sec. 20-19 Apley Road. To accept a 40 foot right of way for a roadway known as “Apley Road”, this land lying westerly of the present Goshen Cemetery property, the acceptance of which will be for land from Route #4, the Goshen-Cornwall Road, to the property line of Stephen LeHoskey. (11-30-1954)
Sec. 20-20 Sunset Ridge Road. To accept as Town road. (12-2-1968)
Sec. 20-21 Cottage Grove Road. To accept as Town road. (12-2-1968)
Sec. 20-22 Right of Way at Lake Shore Drive. To accept the right of way from Lake Shore Drive to Cottage Grove Road. (12-2-1968)
Sec. 20-23 Carriage Drive. To establish as a legal road the south approach leading off Route #63 easterly into the Town and school property. (11-4-1970)
Sec. 20-24 Tamarack Lane. To accept as a public highway the improved portion of the street shown on a map entitled “Preliminary Subdivision Map Showing Portion Property of Harold A. Schwartz, 7272 Southwest 132 Street, Miami, Florida 331566 to be conveyed to Raymond C. Hennequin, Thomas A. Breakell and Robert S. Ives, Route 63 Goshen, Scale 1” equals 100’, February 26, 1973, Certified Substantially Correct by Peter Lamb, L.S., Revised April 26, 1973, which map is on file in the office of the Town Clerk as map #321.
To accept a deed of the same in conveyance of the fee title to the Town, together with such easements, if any, as required by the subdivision plan. (11-15-1974)
Sec. 20-25 Stonebridge Lane. To approve that the Town of Goshen accept as a public highway the improved portion of the street shown on a map entitled “Map of Property to be conveyed to James O’Leary by Genevieve L. Shean, Town of Goshen, County of Litchfield, State of Connecticut Scale 1 inch equals 100 feet - November, 1971” Certified Substantially Correct by Arthur H. Howland, L.S., New Milford and Torrington, which map is on file in the office of the Town Clerk as Map #329.
To accept a deed of the same in conveyance of the fee title to the Town together with such easements, if any, as required by the subdivision plan. (11-15-1974)
Sec 20-25a Stonebridge Lane. To accept as a public highway Stonebridge Lane from its present terminus northerly to the existing cul-de-sac. (11-29-1977)
Sec. 20-26 Woodridge Lake Roads. To approve that the Town of Goshen accept as public highways the private roadways and streets shown on a certain subdivision map entitled “Woodridge Lake, a Subdivision situated in the Town of Goshen, County of Litchfield, Connecticut. Prepared by Boise Cascade Properties, Inc. Chicago, Illinois dated July 21, 1969 Revised July 29, 1969 Revised October 1973 Revised June 24, 1974, which map is on file in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town of Goshen in Volume 7A to which map reference is hereby made for a more particular description of said roadways.
To accept deeds of the same in conveyance of the fee title to the Town together with easements 30 feet in width on each side of the rights-of-ways of all such roads for the purpose of cutting, filling, and drainage of surface water and the right to drain surface water over adjoining property, all as reserved by the Declaration of Restrictions of said Woodridge Lake recorded in Volume 46, pages 51-68 of the Goshen Land Records and subject to the right to construct, operate and maintain underground electrical, telephone and sanitary sewer systems within said highway rights-of-way. Sec. 20-27 Turkey Hollow Lane. To accept as a public highway from Allen Road southerly to the existing cul-de-sac. (11-29-1977)
Sec. 20-28 Kimberly Road. To relocate Town highway known as Kimberly Road at its intersection with Connecticut Route #4 and in connection therewith to establish new highway lines, to abandon the right of the public in lands outside of said new highway lines, and to authorize the conveyance by Quit Claim Deed of the Town’s interest in land north and west of the new highway line to Moey Segal and Leonor Segal, and of the Town’s interest in that portion of the existing Branch Road not within the new highway lines to Alfred R. Vaill and Jeanne L. Vaill. Said new highway lines are shown on map entitled “Map Showing A Portion of Kimberly Road Prepared for the Town of Goshen, Connecticut Scale 1” = 40’ September 1980 revised 2/26/81” and certified substantially correct by Richard J.
Adams R.L.S. #9674, filed with the Town Clerk. (3-11-1981)
Sec. 20-29 Renaming Hyerdale Drive. To change the name of the Town road known as Hyerdale Drive to East Hyerdale Drive for all portions thereof south and east of its intersection with Ashley Drive and Sherbourne Court and to West Hyerdale Drive for all portions thereof north and west of said intersection. Sec. 20-30 Reservoir Road. To accept Reservoir Road as a public highway. (4-8-1980)
Sec. 20-31 Sunset Drive. To accept the improved portion of Sunset Drive as a public highway, and to accept a deed of the unimproved portion, subject to the rights of way of others.

Sec. 20-32 East Street South. To approve the relocation of East Street South, the abandonment of the unused portion of the highway to be conveyed to the abutting property owner on the easterly side of said East Street South. (5-28-1980)
Sec. 20-33 Renaming Hyerdale Drive. To change the name of the Town road known as Hyerdale Drive to East Hyerdale Drive for all portions thereof south and east of its intersection with Ashley Drive and Shelbourne Drive and to West Hyerdale Drive for all portions thereof north and west of said intersection. Sec. 20-34 Hinsdale Road. running from State Highway Route 63 to East Street North is hereby renamed North Goshen Road. (9-29-1992)
Sec. 20-35 That portion of the Town road which runs between the westerly end of Ives Road and the westerly end of Newcomb Road is changed from Marshepaug Road to Crossman Road (11-16-1992)
Sec. 20-36. Deer Run Lane. To accept Deer Run Lane as a public highway in the Town of Goshen and to accept a Warranty Deed in conveyance of the fee title to the Town of Goshen, together with such easements as required by the Subdivision map on file with the Town Clerk, Map Numbers 662A & 662B. Sec. 20-37. To accept a public road to be known as Birchwood Lane all that certain piece of real property, situated in the Town of Goshen, County of Litchfield and State of Connecticut, shown as “Birchwood Lane” on a certain map entitled “Improvement Location Survey, Plan & Profile, ‘Birchwood Lane’, Goshen, Connecticut, prepared for Birchwood Associates:, Carroccio-Covill & Associates, Inc., Scale = 1” = 40’ for horizontal, 1” = 4’ for vertical, dated 12/30/96, which map will be filled in the Goshen Land Records.
Together with an easement for road construction and maintenance in the area shown on said map as “Easement Area for Road Construction & Maintenance in favor of the Town of Goshen.”
Together with the full and perpetual rights of way and drainage easements over, under, across and onto, and access easements over, across and onto the areas shown on said map as “Drainage Right-of-Ways in Favor of the Town of Goshen.” (11-17-1997)
Sec. 20-38. To accept Hilltop Drive and Meadow Crest Drive and the land shown as “Accessway to be Deeded to Town of Goshen 59,840 ± S. F. 1.374± AC.” On a map entitled “Subdivision Map Prepared for Rural Preservation Group East Street South & Pie Hill Road Goshen, Connecticut Date 12/11/03 Scale: 1”=100’ Sheet 1/2 Revised 2/20/04 Town Comments, 2/24/04 Town Comments, 4/30/04 P&Z Signature Block Added, 6/20/04 Miscellaneous Comments” prepared by Berkshire Engineering & Surveying, LLC, 143 Bantam Lake Road, Bantam, Connecticut 06750, which map is on file in the office of the Goshen Town Clerk as Map No. 915, together with (i) a Permanent Construction Easement from Henne Development, LLC to the Town of Goshen dated June 16, 2004 and recorded at Volume
143 page 1150 of the Goshen Land Records; (ii) a “20 FT. Scale 1”=100’, Certified Substantially Correct Stephen Latour, R.L.S., CT LIC #15456,” which map is on file in the Goshen Town Clerk’s Office at Volume 11, Map 970 (the “Map”) together with a “Drainage Easement in favor of the Town of Goshen” located on Lot No. 1 as shown on the Map and a “Drainage Easement in Favor of the Town of Goshen” located on Common Right of Way ‘B’ as shown on the Map as set forth in the Drainage Easement to Town of
