FINANCE
1. BOARD OF FINANCE
The Town of Goshen does hereby establish a Board of Finance. (5-8-1950)
2. SELECTMEN AND TREASURER AUTHORIZED TO BORROW
The Selectman and Treasurer of the Town of Goshen be and they are hereby authorized to temporarily borrow money and issue short term notes of the Town in anticipation of taxes to be received or in anticipation of any other income to be received by the Town in order to defray any Town expenses. 3. FISCAL YEAR
To establish the fiscal year of the Town from September 1 to August 31. (11-14-1966)
4. FISCAL YEAR
To adopt Chapter 110 of the Conn. General Statutes, for a uniform fiscal year beginning July 1, 1973; to establish two collection dates of July and January; the Board of Finance to prepare an interim budget of ten months, September 1, 1972, to end June 30, 1973; the Board of Finance to present a twelve month budget in spring of 1973 to begin July 1, 1973, and to effect this change, to authorize the Board of Finance to borrow monies as Tax Anticipation Loan and to be repaid over a 5-year period. 5. PARK AND RECREATIONAL CAPITAL AND NONRECURRING FUND
The Town of Goshen does adopt and establish a Park and Recreation Capital and Nonrecurring Expense Fund for the Town of Goshen pursuant to Section 7-129(a) of the C.G.S. (4-25-1974)
6. WAIVES BOARD OF FINANCE REQUIREMENT TO PUBLISH REPORT
Be it ordained that the Town of Goshen hereby waives the requirement that the Board of Finance publish in a newspaper having a substantial circulation in the Town a report on the budget as required in Sec. 7-344 of the Conn. General Statutes. (5-26-1982)
