We are providing $10 million to assist Connecticut residential customers with their electric bills this winter season as part of the Customer Relief Plan announced by Governor Ned Lamont in November 2022.

Residential electric customers are eligible to receive a one-time, $500 bill credit if their household income is between 60% and 100% of the state median income.

Potentially eligible customers are receiving a pre-recorded phone message or email from Governor Lamont and Eversource – this is not a scam.

This assistance is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

If your household income is at or below 60% of the state median income, you may qualify for other programs to help pay your bill, including the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program, which provides a basic benefit of $250 towards your heating bill.
