Camp Cochipianee is a 57-acre facility, located at 291 Beach Street, which has a running/walking track, ball fields, bocce court, horseshoe pit, picnic areas, trails, and beach/waterfront area. It also has the Kobylenksi Lodge building that can be rented for events like family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Rentals arrangements must be made through the Recreation Director’s Office. Alcohol is prohibited on Town property.

There are three facility rental options:

The large room has a capacity of 160 seated or 225 standing and includes use of the kitchen and restrooms.
The smaller West Wing has a capacity of 28 seated or 60 standing and includes use of kitchen and restrooms.
The basement meeting room has a capacity of 90 seated or 150 standing. This rental does not include kitchen or upstairs access. May - October restroom building is available.

Rental Information

· Large Room in Lodge Rental:

o Capacity as per Fire Marshall:

§ 160 sitting

§ 225 standing

o Full use of large room plus kitchen and restroom, but does not include the west wing.

o Security deposit of $100 is due with contract

§ If the applicant cancels within 30 days of rental event, $75 will be retained by the Town of Goshen and $25 will be returned to licensee. Otherwise, the security deposit check will be returned if the facility is left in clean and proper order and nothing out of the ordinary as determined by the Recreation Director.

· West Wing Rental:

o Capacity as per Fire Marshall:

§ 28 sitting

§ 60 standing

o West Wing with full use of the kitchen and restrooms:

§ Security deposit of $100 is due with contract

· If the applicant cancels within 30 days of rental event, $75 will be retained by the Town of Goshen and $25 will be returned to licensee.
