Mr Albertson's talk will be in relation to the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. His title is: 9/11 is no Pearl Harbor. Despite whatever President George Bush, Jr stated at the rubble of the Twin Towers, 9/11 was not this generation's Pearl Harbor. The America today & at 2001 is not the America of 1941. According to the VA,some 12.2% of the then American population were in uniform. According to the Defense Department, 0.8% of the American population put on a uniform. For unlike 60 years before, Americans today are divorced from their wars.
Also to be dicussed is 9/11 and the War on Terrorism.
