AFGHAN MASTER POTTER at GOSHEN PUBLIC LIBRARY

Goshen Public Library is proud to introduce Matin Malikzada, a 7th-generation Afghan Master Potter. Internationally recognized for his technical skill and elegant designs, he was forced to flee Afghanistan following the Taliban takeover. Along with his family, he is now resettled in Northwest Connecticut, where he continues his journey as an artist. His engaging presentation will include a slide show, video, Q&A, plus a pottery showcase displaying his works for viewing, and you may even buy a work of art to enjoy at home.
