Helter Skelter: Heresay or History? at GPL

History educator Patrick Richardson will discuss one of the most shocking events in U.S. history: The Tate-LaBianca Murders, which occurred in 1969 in Los Angeles and involved the so-called Manson Family.

Despite popular perception, questions remain concerning the motive for the murders and the culpability of the principal actors. The event continues to have a profound impact upon the American psyche, evidenced through pop culture references, television documentaries, and Quentin Tarantino's recent film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
